Nest News
Liberty High School 8/25/22
Eagles Kingdom,
Students & Parents, if you would like something featured (LHS sponsored activity or athletic event), please have the Liberty Sponsor/Coach e-mail Lindsaykiely@wsdr4.org by noon on Wednesday. Any submission sent after noon will be put in the following weeks newsletter.
As we head towards the weekend we hope students are practicing checking their email, reviewing assignments on canvas, and watching their grades. Week one represents the building blocks of the foundation that weeks 2, 3, 27, and so on fall upon. If you need extra help please consider these opportunities.
- Meet with the teacher before or after school. Even 10 minutes every day adds up to an extra 50 minutes of learning for you each week. Many times it is a one-to-one ratio with the teacher during these times.
- Visit your teacher during their office hours throughout Soar Time (Two 30-minute opportunities are offered weekly). Soar Time Teacher Office Hours Schedule
- Ask to see your teacher during Thursday Nest Time (pre-arrange prior to 2 pm on the Wednesday before Nest Time).
- Attend after-school Academic Assist in the library from 2:25 pm - 3:25 pm Monday - Thursday.
- Email your teacher to ask specific questions about assignments that you are struggling to complete.
Taking advantage of all of the above suggestions would lend you over ELEVEN hours of extra help a week!
We are looking forward to celebrating our ten-year anniversary each day with EACH OF YOU! One final hint! On Fridays, we wear RED, WHITE, & BLUE! #EaglesKingdom #IBelong
