Our scholarship students are very special people.

The scholarships are awarded based on merit and the students that are selected are already very accomplished in many ways for their age! Many of our scholarship students use what they learn here in the USA to help their own communities and go home to become community and even national leaders in their home countries.

FLEX scholarship

The Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) plays a critical role in providing youth from Eurasia the opportunity to live and study in the United States. In addition to forging life-long friendships and expanding communication between Americans and their home countries, FLEX students learn about American society, values, and American style democracy, acquire leadership skills and share their countries and cultures.

YES scholarship

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES) was created after the tragic events of September 11. This vital program extends the hand of peace by providing Scholarships to high school students from countries with significant Muslim population to spend a school year in the United States. The YES Program is designed to promote increased understanding and respect among cultures by exposing the youth to America’s diverse belief systems, civil society principles and community service.

Country of origin: Countries with considerable Muslim population including (but not limited to) Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Suriname, Indonesia, Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco, and Turkey

CBYX scholarship

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) provides a unique opportunity for hundreds of German students to spend a school year in the United States while at the same time giving American students the chance to live a year in Germany. As the name might indicate, the program emphasizes learning about each country's political life and the students truly form a bridge of understanding between Germany and the United States.

Because all students are awarded full Scholarships, they undergo a rigorous selection process; only the best are accepted for program participation.

Islambek from Kyrgyzstan!

The students we receive as part of the FLEX scholarship program from Kyrgyzstan are some of the nicest kids on the planet! Islambek was on our program last year and one day he would like to be president of his country! With his good grades and magnetic personality, that wouldn't be a stretch. You can host a student just like Islambek if you choose to host one of our scholarship students!
