Pre k 1 Newsletter
This week:
- Did a few quick assessments on colors and numbers
- Focused on Winter and winter activities
- Watched short clips about Arctic Animals
- Did some arctic animal art
- Had penguin races outside
- Had a dance session
- Next week we will go more in depth on specific arctic animals
- Monday Jan 11th is my birthday I ask that the kids bring in 24 small items of some sort for us to count and use for Art that day. (Anything laying around the house....don't feel the need to make a purchase. ex: 24 cut up pieces of paper, beads, pom poms, sequins, be creative!)
Number Assessments
This year (2016) we hope to do more assessments so you can visually see your child's growth!

Ms. Hannah has been working hard upgrading our website, while it is not completely finished it is worth taking a look. A lot of valued information can be found on there such as the lunch menu, info. about upcoming events and some of our pictures!
We Are Growing!
There is never a dull moment in our class, these kids keep me on my toes. In case you haven't noticed we are growing. Jack is no longer the only boy in Pre K 1, YAY!!! Meet our two new additions to our class below. Giving us a grand total of 11 students.
Meet Eli DiSilvestro
- Eli Moved up from Mrs. Crystal and Mrs. Beth's room
- He has a little brother who also attends Legacy, his name is Luke
- Eli is full of energy and can be found most days in the block center
Meet Adam Ibrahim
- Adam is brand new to Legacy
- He is an only child
- He can also be found in the block center playing with the train set or dinosaurs
- Adam turns 4 in feb. and is always talking about a Dino-Charger he is hopefully going to get from mom and dad on his birthday
