Story Line
A young man by the name of Louie was an Olympian joined the fight during WWII. His plane was crashed down in the ocean and survived over 45 days at sea and was picked up by Japanese naval ships. He was brought to a camp for American prisoners. The rest of the story is him fighting to survive the harsh conditions of the camp. He is treated worse by the camp leader "the bird" and his journey to overcome death.
