A message from Mrs. Todd

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Distance learning is something we have never done. We all are learning as we go and need your feedback. Please share with us how we are doing and what we can do better (Survey to do this is here). I know some of you have commented that it feels "vague" the requirements arounddistance learning. Well, to be honest, they are. In a class of 20 students, there are 20 or more different "worlds" happening at home. We currently don't have traditional school to unify these worlds for the students and their teachers. So, we have to be vague. You need to choose what works for your family and situation. Remember, take it one day at a time. Take a moment to value this extra time with your kids. I love that fact that I get this time with my son all day, even though this is hard.

Last night, I was having a conservation with my Mother in law. Her Mother, Mabel, was a young adult during the Spanish Flu of 1918. She is in the picture above, first on the left. Mabel spoke about how they wore the masks to school and everywhere around Santa Rosa during the Spanish Flu. Now, 100ish years later, history is repeating itself. Let's learn from the past and take time to reflect for the future. To quote something I read, "we will read about this time in the History books someday."

Have a great week.

XO, Mrs. Todd

Staff parade- Wednesday- April 29

The Riebli staff will be driving on the route below to wave and say HI to our students on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29! We will be leaving Riebli at 11:30 and following this map. If you don't live in these areas, come park and see us. It would be great to have the students wave, make signs and cheer as well.

Virtual Spring Book Fair

The "Virtual Spring Book Fair" is now on the books! It will run for 2 weeks, April 13th-26th. This Fair is a bit different, as it has something for everyone! It's not our typical K-6 selection, as shoppers will have access to the entire Scholastic Store. Riebli families can invite all their family members, extended family, to shop our site and support the Riebli Library Budget. This is a great time to add to the home libraries, as getting out and about is not an option. Every order is conveniently shipped directly to their home. I'm completely thankful to Scholastic for making this possible.

When a sick baby dragon appears, it’s up to Zoey and Sassafras to figure out what’s wrong. Will they be able to help little Marshmallow before it’s too late?
