We had An Exciting Celebration of Favorite Book Characters!

To promote literacy and creativity we celebrated Book Character Costume Day where students and staff dress up like their favorite characters from books they love. Some of our Patriots came as characters from Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter, Judy B. Jones, Unicorns to an Egyptian girl from the book Modern Rhymes from Ancient Egypt! There was so much creativity and obvious love of reading!

For Digital Learning Students ONLY

Corley families - Vision to Learn has partnered with Corley Elementary to offer free vision screening for all DIGITAL students next Tuesday, November 10, from 3:45 - 6:45 p.m. The screening only takes a few minutes. Come to the school anytime between 3:45-6:45 p.m.. Park in the side lot and enter the building using the side door (entrance for car riders). Please wear masks. Once results of the screening are complete, you will be notified if your child needs a more thorough examination. If necessary, your child will receive free eyeglasses. We are excited to be able to provide this opportunity to our families! (The in-person students were screened at school on October 15)

Clothes for the clinic

We are running low on pants and shorts for when a student may have a spill or even find that one mud puddle during recess. Please consider putting a change of clothes in your child's backpack just in case.

If you have pants, shorts or socks that you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Please make sure you continue to apply for Free & Reduced meals so your child will have meal benefits when the waiver expires on December 31, 2020. https://www.nlappscloud.com/

Mask and Face Covering Guidelines

All face masks or face coverings should:

• Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin.

• Fit securely against both sides of the face.

How many masks should I provide for my child?

We recommend at least 2. One will be worn when the student arrives to school, but a back-up should be sent in a sealed plastic bag kept in the backpack. If one gets dirty during the school day, we'll switch out the masks and send the soiled one home to be laundered.

We thank you for sending our Patriots to school with masks and the other appropriate materials to ensure safety and academic success.

Curbside Pick-up of Meals Monday-Friday. Meals will be available for pick-up from 11:00-12:30.

THANK YOU for your donations during the Great Days Of Service food drive. We collected over 200 items! Every little bit helps our community.

We appreciate you!
