- September 7: Labor Day, No CLASSES
- September 9: Last day to drop/add classes
- September 9: Last day to receive 100% refund
- September 14: Last day for 90% refund for complete withdrawal
- September 16: Last day to receive 50% refund for partial withdrawal
- September 28: Last day to receive 50% for complete withdrawal
Spring 2021 Priority Regstration
To receive Priority Registration for Spring 2021 the following must be completed by Thursday October 29, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.NO EXECPTIONS!
Priority registration begins Thursday November 5, 2020 at 7:30 a.m.
The following assessments must be completed, results submitted and reviewed with a FESP Staff Member. The assessments are below (IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED & SUBMITTED THE ASSESSMENTS IN THE PAST, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THEM AGAIN):
Complete a virtual academic advising appointment and Fall 2020 Individual Student Development Plan (ISDP) with a FESP Advisor during Fall 2020 ON or BEFORE October 29.
Attend at least ONE TRIO FESP virtual event/activity OR Complete TWO on line modules listed below and type a brief summary of what you learned.
*If you prefer to do an on line module, you will need to pick two of the following, complete, and submit a brief evaluation about what you learned from the module. Please email evaluations to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cannot open the link by clicking on it, please copy and paste the link into the URL.

There will be two virtual job fairs in September: —Part-Time Job Fair 2020 Virtual Fair on Sept. 8, from 3 to 6 p.m. This event attracts employers from Kalamazoo and Portage with open, paid, part-time positions available for WMU students. Any WMU students looking for part-time jobs should attend. —Engineering Expo 2020 Virtual Fair on Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event attracts employers from around the nation seeking candidates with engineering and applied sciences backgrounds for full-time jobs, internships and cooperative education opportunities. Waldo Library Information
First floor at Waldo Library reopens

Waldo Library’s first floor has reopened to WMU users from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A Bronco Card is required to enter the library. Up to 150 people may be allowed in the facility at a time. The lower level, second and third floors will remain closed until further notice. Library users are encouraged to use online and phone services whenever possible. Call or chat online with librarians and staff for account-related questions or reference assistance. The University Libraries will continue to adjust hours and operations in response to changing conditions. TRIO FESP Tutoring Information
TRIO FESP Tutoring Services Will Be Offered Virtually This Fall!
You will have the opportunity to make an appointment or attend drop-in hours with a Peer Tutor through video conferencing and the option to submit papers for review. More details to come as tutoring services will begin the week of September 14th.

Meet Our New Staff Member Anitra White
I am Anitra White and I'm very excited to join TRIO-FESP as the Admin. Assistant II, I have worked with WMU for almost 2 years and have worked in two other office here on campus. Before WMU, I worked for Kalamazoo Public School in multiple roles. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with family. My husband and I have 5 Children ranging in age from 10-25 years of age. Our 3 oldest have attended or are current students of WMU. My favorite past times are reading and attending concerts or other live performances. Our family moved here from Ohio in 2010 and my husband and I are both graduates of The Ohio State University, where I earned my BA in Humanities/English. I also have a MBA in Human Resources Management for The University of Phoenix.
I look forward to meeting and getting to now each one of you!
