The Prowler
Week of October 24, 2022
From Mr. Moreno's Desk:
Teachers, Staff, Parents, and Students,
On Tuesday, October 18th we will host our fourth Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program session at 2:00 in the RHMS Library. In addition, RHMS will hold the Fall 2022 Open House for all parents on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. We will start out with a Pep Rally for parents at 5:30 p.m. followed by Meet the Teacher Night from 6:00-7:00 immediately following the pep rally. We will recognize all our student athletes and will have a performance by our RHMS Cheerleaders and the Mighty RHMS Bobcat Band. Hope to see everyone here! RHMS Picture Day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th. We encourage your child to dress in their Sunday's best; however, it is not required. Students may also wear their regular uniform if they so choose. Lastly, a huge "THANK YOU" to all our parents, students and staff that attended the RHMS Red Ribbon Fundraiser last Monday at Peter Piper Pizza in Harlingen. I am pleased to say that RHMS will receive a check for $527 to go into our Student Activity account!

“A lot of strategies that we try with a defiant student will fail. It’s tough, but keep seeking that breakthrough moment. The only thing guaranteed to never work is giving up on that student.” #HackingSchoolDiscipline
“Relationships play a crucial role to one’s growth in a building. However there are times others don’t want to see/hear what you’re sharing, so seek out others that do. Stay focused on student relationships/successes regardless of situations.” #RiderEDChat
