Advent Family Fun

Yale Divinity School Families

Advent Service and Party--now a bit more family friendly.

Tomorrow evening's Advent service is a special YDS tradition--an evening of candles and beautiful music. This year, the chapel team has agreed to make it a little more kid-friendly, while still keeping with custom. There will be a coloring activity for the children, and an opportunity for the children to present their project as part of the service. They are also completely open to families leaving early as the service will likely run until 8:15. Please do come!

The party afterward is quite festive--but does run a little late in the evening. There will be plenty of kid-able food and drink, but also plenty of adult beverages on hand, too. Kids are welcome, though there is nothing planned specifically for them.

What happened to the tree trimming party? Due to the late timing of Thanksgiving this year, there wasn't time to have a family-oriented tree trimming event. The CLC hopes to plan a different family-oriented party later in the year to make up for this omission.
