February's Here!

(Hope the groundhog was right about an early spring!)

Aromatherapy, just in case....

Although I try my best to be a positive person, 2016 has been hard for me so far. I lost a very beloved great aunt in January, and this past week our oldest dog was killed unexpectedly, and in an awful way. I have definitely been using my eo's to support me during these grieving processes. Of course I have been using my regular mood go-to's: Balance, Bergamot, Serenity, and Vetiver. But I've also been incorporating our new line. Console, our comforting blend, I am applying everyday throughout the day. And since the passing of our dog, who was always there to comfort me through times of sadness, and was so loyal and protective over our family, I have also been using Forgive. You see, I don't kill ANYTHING besides ticks, flies, and mosquitoes; not even a spider unless I fear it's a brown recluse. And whatever killed our dog (most likely coyotes, even though it was during the day while we were at work), in my opinion it needs to be disposed of. That being said, I feel guilt that maybe we didn't protect him enough. After all, he was over 12 years old and wasn't as fast and agile as he used to be. And that's where the Forgive comes in.
We all have things happen in our lives that are unexpected and hurt us. I am so appreciative to have these oils on hand to help me through. Don't get me wrong. It's still not easy, especially when we are home and we miss his presence so much. But they are helping. I would advise you to have these on hand just in case you ever need them. And, to stay "grounded and gleeful" I'm diffusing blends like the one of the bottom of my newsletter in my diffuser when I'm feeling blue.
