Erie, CO to Elmhurst, IL
By Avery Faulkner
Welcome to my S'more where you will learn about the journey of leaving home at age 17 to live with a different family and a different state just for hockey. This is the journey of Jaccob Slavin going to live with the Faulkner's and his journey to achieve his childhood dream of making to the NHL.
This is the first year Jaccob lived with us and was the assistant captain of the Chicago Steel.
This picture is from the second year he lived with us and became the captain of the Chicago Steel.
Our family went down to see Jaccob after he beat the Chicago Blackhawks.
