Summary

Fallen Angels is a book of coming of age and courage. A seventeen-year old kid that just finished high school and can't afford college so he goes of into the army and flies to Vietnam. He makes friends Johnson, Brunner, and Peewee. They all want many things but the thing that they desire most is to get out of Vietnam alive.


Important Quote

"My father used to call all soldiers angel warriors," he said. "Because usually they get boys to fight wars. Most of you aren't old enough to vote yet"


This is an important quote because Jenkins just died and the Lieutenant Carroll said this to everyone. It is sad because most of the soldiers are just boys that are under the age of 18 and they can't even vote for there country.


Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling said that Fallen Angels was one of the best books that he had ever read. He told everyone about the book after he finished it. He said everyone should read this book.
