Creating a Transition Plan for Your Future Career
Step 1: What do I want to do after high school?
1. Go to the Family Connections website below and log in.
2. Then, fill out the inventory to determine which career you would like to pursue after you graduate high school.
3. Once you have picked a future career, move on to step 2.

Step 2: What will my future career look like?
Answer the following questions about your future career:
1. What will my job title be?
2. What type of education do I need for this job?
3. What are my top two choices of colleges I can attend to get this education?
4. For my top two choices of colleges, how do I apply to the college?
5. How much money could I earn in this career?
6. Besides a college degree, are there are any other steps I will need to take in order to make this my career?

Check out the College and Career section of the library.
To see if the library has any books over the career you chose, use the online card catalog.
Step 3: Create your transition website!
Once you have answered all of the questions above, you will edit your webpage on Ms. Scott's transition website (link website here). We probably need more instructions here in regards to what they will put on their webpage.
