Granola with Grandparents
Carmen Anaya library held its very first granola with grandparents on Wednesday March 5, 2014. We were pleased to have a grand total of 124 grandparents show up for this event. The grandparents picked up their grandchildren from class and were taken to the cafeteria for granola, cake, coffee and juice. After, students guided their grandparents to the library to read with them. Many of the students were overjoyed with happiness that they were spending time reading with their grandparents.
