Ms. Lee's Class Paper
3rd Grade - August 31st
This week in our class
Last week was a pretty smooth week! Everyone's adjusting to the routines and procedures perfectly! Just a heads up- on Class Dojo I clear out their points every week so you can see each week what goes on.
Just some information about things going home. A reading log will be going home this week, your child needs to be reading about 15 minutes per night. Research shows that when kids read nightly that their reading stamina and comprehension improve because they are practicing skills daily.
Scholastic book club orders went home last week. If you send them back I always send them out on the 20th of every month. So the first one due if you want books is Sept. 20th. This is a great way to fill your class library at home for reduced prices! If you want to order online get with me and I will send you our class code!!
We are always collecting Box Tops, so please send any you have to school. We usually have a weekly competition and the kids love it!
Also if you aren't on our class website, please get that done this week. That is how I post things for parent teacher conference sign ups, volunteer events, etc.
As always if you have questions, concerns or comments feel free to contact me!!
Thanks,
Ms. Lee
