George Couros, this year's keynote speaker, is a learner, educator, and Innovative Teaching, Learning, and Leadership consultant. He am also the author of "The Innovator's Mindset". He believes we need to inspire our kids to follow their passions while letting them inspire us to do the same.

Think, Make, Innovate: Green Screen Fairy Tale
In this makerspace challenge, students from Solon Middle School put their own twist on the fairy tale, Three Little Pigs. They utilize green screen technology with movie special effects using the app Green Screen by DoInk to create a unique adaptation of a classic fairy tale.

Dr. Dillon will speak on how structures, systems and tradition can sometimes block educators from their ultimate goal in improving the future of our most vulnerable students. Join Dr. Robert Dillon as he shares his passion for changing the educational landscape by building engaging schools for all students with digital tools and pedagogy that facilitate the learning for all students- especially those who have fewer resources and more obstacles to overcome in achieving success.
