Remote Learning Scenes

A pencil is used at the beginning stages of learning as it has an eraser to use when making a mistake. We use the eraser to correct but also to learn from our mistakes. During this remote learning time, Teachers and Staff are using the "Pencil" as a symbol to erase plans that don't work and create new plans based on what we have learned. As parents, I am sure you can identify with this symbol, as you too, are learning with us as a partner in your child's education. We want to thank everyone for their support and patience as our D44 strategic plan states, "We Are All In This Together." Below are some pictures of our staff on the first day of remote learning this week.

The Butterfield Elementary PTA officers would like to welcome you and your family to a new and exciting year of school. As we have started to discover, the 2020 - 2021 school year will truly be unlike any other. Please remember the mission of the PTA - to positively impact the lives of the students and their families during the time of the COVID 19 pandemic. Together at Butterfield, we can back these efforts by supporting district programs, the school community through family events, and giving direct help to the teachers and staff at Butterfield.

If this is your first year at Butterfield Elementary, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you! Whether a new PTA member or a returning member, we thank you for your contributions, time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers, and most importantly, our students!

We want to introduce our 2020-21 officers and give you their contact information:

Presidents: Ragen & Scott Toennessen – srtoennes@comcast.net
