Magic Mountain 8th grade reward field trip

The Magic Mountain field trip for 8th graders is on Wednesday, 6/5. Bus listings will be posted on 6/4 outside the front office in the morning. There will be no “A” period classes and students will report to their Period 1 class for attendance. Students will arrive back to Redwood at approximately 7:15pm.

Students not attending the field trip are required to attend school on Wednesday, June 5th. A meaningful academic schedule has been created for all 8th grade students that will be staying at Redwood. If your child is out ill for the day, or is otherwise unable to attend the trip or attend school, please call our attendance line at (805) 497-7264.

Join Yearbook/Newspaper Club

Yearbook/Newspaper Club, with the guidance of Mrs. Pantoja, designs the Yearbook, as well as, three digital newspapers that come out each trimester. Promoting creativity and teamwork, students get to see school events from a new perspective, and gain a greater understanding of technology. Incoming 7th and 8th graders are welcome, whether you’re experienced or not. To join, talk to Mrs. Pantoja in Rm. 31.

Yearbook Sales

The yearbook list for students that have already purchased yearbooks through Redwood are posted outside the Front Office. Any students that purchased directly through Walsworth for a custom yearbook will receive these on Distribution days along with those that purchased through Redwood.

Yearbooks will be distributed Monday, 6/3 for 8th grade students and Tuesday, 6/4 for 6 and 7th grade students.

ALL students will have their yearbooks outside the Stage Area in the Quad after school hours at 3:15 to 4:00 pm. There will be a separate table for those students that purchased through Walsworth. Students should have their ID card with them to receive their yearbook. There will be a NO ID card line if a student has forgotten their ID card.

Any 6th and 7th grade students with an outstanding Cafeteria or school fines, overdue textbooks from the Library, Detentions not served or Band items not returned will not receive a yearbook until this has been cleared.

Any 8th grade students will NOT automatically receive their yearbook until all Cafeteria or school fines and Detentions not served have been cleared.

All yearbook sales begin again for 8th graders on 6/3 and for 6 & 7th graders on 6/4. Students may purchase a year book for $75 CASH only (upon availability).
