SAFETY PROCEDURES
We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to receive feedback from Campus Police regarding our safety procedures. Prior to the police-led drill, the A-Team will assess/discuss areas that need improvement.
One change: we are no longer able to use the magnets. Doors should be locked. One of the staff from the office will come around and collect magnets.
There will be a mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday, 2/27 to review safety procedures. This is one month away. If you have already existing conflicts, clear them.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS - FACULTY MEETING ON TUESDAY, 2/27.
TOPIC = SAFETY PROCEDURES AND ADJUSTMENTS.
LITERACY COACHING
The expectation from admin is that Jill is present in classrooms providing support. She can model lessons, teach beside you, work with students with whom you have concern, watch a lesson and provide feedback based on goals you establish.
We are fortunate that the Foundation provides a literacy coach and Jill is willing, ready, and able to help you fine tune your craft as a professional! The best news - Jill does not and cannot serve in an evaluative role (TKES) and she is here solely to support literacy instruction. Lean on her!
