Notes from the Pride
Lincoln Elementary School Announcements 9/8/2021
A couple reminders...
- Now that school is underway, we allow STUDENTS ONLY into the building when they are dropped off in the morning. With COVID cases beginning to spike in the area, we would like to ensure that our students are not exposed to more people than necessary. Thank you for your understanding, and please be assured our fantastic staff will get your children where they need to be every day.
- Also, please give your hugs and kisses before you leave home in the morning, our drive-thru drop-off is NOT the place for this. We have to keep this line moving. If your child needs help getting out of a vehicle, please park in a parking space and walk them to the door for drop-off.

The Danger of Overscheduling Your Kids
Request for Pop Tabs
The RMHC offers many wonderful amenities for families, to help them maintain as much normalcy and solace as possible. These include a game room, computer room, study room, Secret Garden, laundry room, fitness center, playground, art and music therapy, church, and free meals.
Pop tab donations are one of RMHC’s funding sources and in May of every year, they hold a special “Pop Tab Day,” when the value of pop tabs is generally tripled! That’s right, rather than earning 33¢ per pound, each pound of pop tabs collected on this day is worth around $1.00!
Historically, we've been able to donate an incredible amount of tabs during this time, but we need everyone's help to do it again this year.
So what can you do?!?!? Simply pop off the tabs from aluminum or tin cans and send them in with your Lincoln Lion at any time. Students can bring them to the office for instructions as to where they should go. As always, thank you for your support!
