The Big Move is Happening This Coming Week for UPK and Kindergarten Classrooms

Well, we have eagerly been waiting for the UPK and Kindergarten new wing to open, and next week is the week that we will start to transition and move into our new spaces. This is the first phase of our East Side renovation. After next week, we will have all UPK and Kindergarten classrooms located in their permanent spots. I personally know that our teachers are at the school as I write this on a Sunday, working to help get the rooms ready for our kiddos and I am so proud of them coming in and devoting so much time to their new space. These are state of the art classrooms. It was amazing to witness how this project occurred. These are complete, brand new rooms, inside and out! We thank you for your support as we create efficient and effective, safe learning spaces for our children! Our next construction phase in the building will be where the UPK and Kindergarten classrooms are located now. That entire hallway will be reconstructed and designed to be effective, efficient and safe classrooms and spaces for our 3-4 population. Then we will work on the1st and 2nd grade classrooms, main office, and lobby area! As we continue through the project, our goal is to maintain the least disruption to our students and staff. Our UPK - K wing is now in their permanent home. It's so exciting to see this happen for the betterment of our kids!

When School Closes Early - We Follow The Emergency Sheet

Safety is always our #1 priority in our school and for our children. This is why we have a protocol to follow when school is closed early and considered and emergency closing Once this decision is made, our school goes into an emergency protocol. We follow the emergency sheets that you have completed at the beginning of the year, to send your children to that emergency address. This means, that all notes that were sent in during the morning will be voided and the emergency sheet goes into action. This is for your child's safety. We will not accept any changes over the phone, after 11:00a.m. and will follow the emergency sheet go home address.

It is very rare that an early emergency closing will happen, but it did last week. If you think that your sheets needs to be updated, please come in and we will be glad to work with you to change your emergency procedures. Our office staff has to follow the protocol and producers that have been established for your child's safety. Thank you all for working with us and for working on behalf of the safety of our children!
