Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year during the last week of October. It is a nationally recognized substance abuse prevention campaign dedicated to the memory of Kiki Camarena, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, killed in the line of duty. The wearing of red ribbons is a visible symbol of our commitment to lead safe, healthy, and drug free lifestyles.

The drug free force is strong in the Bransford galaxy! Please join us in promoting red ribbon week by engaging in the dress up days listed below. We will end the week with a pep rally on Friday on afternoon.

Yearly Volunteer Requirements

In order to volunteer at BES this year in classrooms, during school-wide event, or as a field trip chaperone, please review the new volunteer handbook and complete the required background check. Thank you for understanding that this process must be repeated each school year. Now is a good time to complete this process and encourage all family members who might want to volunteer to complete it, too.
