Principal's Weekly Wrap-up
Penncrest High School, June 19, 2021
Penncrest: a community of learners that shapes productive, mindful, and ethical world citizens, one student at a time.
This is my final wrap-up. Please know the honor it has been to serve this community for the past 6 years as the proud principal of Penncrest High School, and 9 years before that as an assistant principal. This is such an incredible school with such incredible faculty, staff, students and parents. I hope you are as grateful as I am to be a part of this community of learners. I am excited to begin my new position as a member of the district-wide community of learners.
Be good, do good, and help and support others.
Have a safe, relaxing, and as close to normal summer as you can! We all earned it!
Thanks for your support of Penncrest High School over the past 15 years,
Ralph Harrison
Happy Juneteenth!
Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is also often observed for celebrating African American culture. Originating in Galveston, Texas, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States since 1866.

From the Penncrest High School Counseling Department
Dear Class of 2022 students and parents/guardians:
As the end of the academic year approaches, Penncrest counselors are hard at work preparing for your upcoming senior year. You’ve selected your courses for next year, you’ve met with your counselor individually to discuss your post-secondary plans, and many of you have already taken an SAT or ACT exam.
Penncrest High School Counselors are available during their summer hours to provide additional
guidance and support for the entire college application process for rising seniors and their
parents/guardians. Counselors will host a large group College Application Boot Camp presentation as well as individual planning meetings with students and their parents/guardians. These sessions allow for individualized questions and planning for students while the large group presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the entire college application process.
The College Application Boot Camp presentation will walk students and families through the busy season ahead, with information about Naviance, deadlines, teacher recommendations, and more. The Zoom link for the College Application Boot Camp will be emailed via Naviance prior to the scheduled date. Registration is required for the individual planning meetings. (See registration links below.) Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis.
