The spelling concept this week is words with o, ow, oa. Click here to go visit the Spelling City website: http://www.crsd.org/Page/16692

We will continue with the concept for Topic 8, adding two digit numbers in the ones and tens columns. Tricky, tricky as we add numbers with regrouping. We say a chant that helps us, please ask your child what it is!

Keep up with the great work on the First in Math website. This is a wonderful activity to help strengthen your child's math skills on different levels and provide enrichment. www.firstinmath.com

Please consider joining the Home and School Association if you haven't yet this year. With your membership dollars, the H&S is able to fund important programs for the children including... • School Assemblies and Author Visits • Curriculum Nights • Assignment Books • Young Author Books • Halloween and Field Day Supplies. You do not need to attend meetings because you are a member and committees are optional.
