Snack Attack Snack Drive
Snack Attack provides TCE students in need with a sack of healthy snacks to take home on Fridays to help them through the weekend until they can return to school on Monday for a hot meal.
Our Dad’s Club is sponsoring our Snack Drive starting Monday, Aug 24th. Please consider donating individually wrapped snack items. Bins will be located outside of the school office. Suggested items include: granola bars, pudding, popcorn, fruit cups, crackers, etc.
If your child is in need and would appreciate receiving these weekly bags of snacks, please contact our school counselor, Mrs. Jackie Fiesbeck, at 594-4310 or jfiesbeck@hse.k12.in.us. The recipients of Snack Attack remain confidential.
It’s a great day to be a Cardinal and support our students! Thank you for considering a donation of a snack item to our Snack Drive!
TCE School Directory
The online school directory is now available to all families in Skyward. This year the directory is based on an opt-in model. Families must choose to show their contact information in order to be visible in the directory.
To opt-in, click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of your Family Access account. From there, check the boxes for the information you wish to make visible under the School Directory section and then Save. Families can make changes to this section anytime throughout the school year.

Our Curriculum for Next Week....
Reading - We will continue on building relationships with the books we read by thinking about, sharing, retelling and discussing them. We still are working on choosing a "just right book" and learning the procedures for our Reading Workshop. We will also be working on retelling. This will help students answer the question "What does my teacher want to know when she says tell me about the story."
Writing - We will be working on editing our work, paying close attention to capital letters at the beginning, punctuation at the end of sentences, always using a capital letter I, using finger spacing, and beginning to use our dictionary to help us spell unknown words.
Math - We will be working on graphing (picture graphs, bar graphs, and tally graphs).
