NFDL Assessment
Our district uses a Balanced Assessment System approach (summative, benchmark, formative) to assessing student learning. We value multiple measures of data, as opposed to using one source of information.
**Our 11th graders completed the ACT and the ACT WorkKeys this month. Thank you to the HS staff for all of your work with this assessment. The HS has implemented some different things this year to improve learning for students. Ask a HS staff member about these practices.**

Using Arguments in All Content Areas - Here is an article about how we can teach students to defend their thinking and justify their thoughts in all levels and all content areas - link If you are short of time, check outline the table and bulleted lists at the end of the article.
Effectiveness Project - My Learning Plan
We believe in using instructionally sound practices for our students, not for the Effectiveness Project. If we do this, our work in My Learning Plan will take care of itself.
