Save the Date! January 31, 2019
Cultural Passport Closing Ceremony and Bonfire
Cultural Passport Program 2019 - South Korea
Each year, KES students "visit" a country represented by one of our own families. In all related arts classes for the month of January, we learn and explore that country and its culture. This year we will be learning about South Korea. You will see a flyer when we return from break to inform you about all the exciting things that are planned!
Closing Ceremony - Save the Date!
Our closing Ceremony is an important community event each year as we celebrate the heritages of our own students. Students will share what they have learned during the month of Cultural Passport activities in all their related arts classes. Then there will be a special presentation by some Korean dancers. Students and families will help to celebrate the Korean Lunar New Year as we march around the bonfire. Please be aware that our attention outside needs to be focused on the activity at hand and safety. We need everyone's help to keep everyone in the correct areas to enjoy the event safely. There will also be some Korean flavors to sample! Mark it on your calendar now!
