engagEDKY Update, January 2, 2016

Welcome to your first engagEDKY newsletter of the new year!

Save the Date! Our virtual training session will occur on Saturday, January 30th. More details to come next week!

Please note the announcement at the bottom of the newsletter, which informs you that if when you're ready to write or speak about education issues, you should email me at katrina.boone@education.ky.gov to start the mentoring process. I’ll work with you as much as you need to see your engagement from inception to completion.

Have a look at the topics and links below—I hope one of them sparks further thought. Reflect on the implications of each on your students, your classroom, your teaching, and your community — then get engaged!
