Ring Leader Tidbits
~ I hope everyone found the two days of training to open this week very beneficial. I loved the Lead4Ward training yesterday, and we will be utilizing a lot of those reports during our PLC and vertical council discussions. I encourage you to play around with the app as well as the reports on Eduphoria. They have VERY beneficial information! I hope you all found the training useful as well!
~ Speaking of Lead4Ward resources, please let Kathleen and I know when you plan to utilize some of the activities, quick checks, etc. that were discussed yesterday. We would love to stop by and watch while we are doing walkthroughs.
~ The ipad carts have all been delivered. Please look over your cart and ensure the chords are attached in a way that won't cause them to get tangled. We had some chords get all tangled together, and it's because of the way they were attached in the cart. If you need help trying to figure out the best way to alleviate that issue, go see Kindergarten and Laura Lee! They worked to figure out the issue with their cart! Speaking of... we are missing one of the ipads in the green case. If you had the green ipads last year, can you let me know if you have an extra? Or, if you know where it is or what happened to it, let me know.
School Bulletin
- There will be some changes in the ACES program. The class will be split into 2 different classes, and Jonas will transfer over as the teacher for the upper grade students. Tracey will be the teacher for the younger students. With that change, we will be hiring someone to take Jonas' place in SPED. If you know anyone who is looking for a job and is SPED certified, send them my way!
- The fall festival is next Thursday night! There is a flyer that will be in your boxes tomorrow to send home. We will also send home via email as well. We are asking for candy donations for the trick or treating, so please send home this information in parent newsletters!
- Remember, the fall festival is different this year, and the kids will be trick or treating in the hallways (similar to Boo at Bos). Get creative with your team and set up your table and maybe even DRESS UP! Shannon will be sending an email about specifics!
- Speaking of dressing up, Red Ribbon Week is right around the corner! Halloween is on that next week, so we will do our storybook character day ON Halloween this year. I will create a flyer to send home, and it will simply be Storybook Character day. So, all students can wear a costume as long as they have a book to go along with it. We want to stress that Halloween costumes will not be allowed, and no masks will be allowed.
