Irish Traditonal Music Week with Breanndán O Beaglaoich - not to be missed!
One of the local Irish traditional music groups, Jig n Reel, is organising the first Irish Traditional Music week in Korea from 2-9 November. The internationally renowned Irish traditional musician, Breanndán O Beaglaoich, is coming to Seoul especially for this event, and will play the following dates:
November 5, 6pm
Venue: Veloso, 4F, 117 Poeun-ro Mapo-gu Seoul. Special guests: Jig n Reel
November 7, 8pm
Venue: Space36.5, B1, 5 Dangsan-ro 27-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu Seoul. Special guests: Tappung (this concert will also include an open session!)

Irish traditional music sessions
You will now be able to find Irish music every Sunday in Seoul! This Sunday 22 October at 5pm, and every second Sunday afterwards, there will be a live session in HopMori, Sinsa-dong: http://bit.ly/2zCTbM3
The other fortnightly Sunday sessions continue in the Wolfhound, Itaewon from 4pm to 8pm. http://bit.ly/2yA3jVH
All musicians and singers are welcome to perform, and all are encouraged to come along and enjoy the session.

Halloween quiz night
On Friday October 27th at 8pm the Irish Association of Korea will be hosting a fun pub quiz for Koreans and expats, in the Wolfhound pub, Itaewon.
Entry fee per team will be 20,000 won, with a maximum of 4 participants.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has launched TravelWise, the new smartphone app designed to help Irish citizens to stay safe and informed while travelling, living or working overseas. TravelWise has been developed by the Department to provide travel advice and consular information to these citizens to keep them informed and aware.
