Happy February Vacation!

Dear Greenfield Families and Friends,

Today is the last day of our Read-a-Thon! I am so impressed with our students and thankful for all the generous donations from families and friends! Our total time spent reading exceeded our goal, with 10, 441 minutes read as of the end of the day today! I will be ending the Read-a-Thon on Sunday evening, so if your reader wants to log some more minutes or friends and family still want to donate, there is still time!

I hope you enjoy the February break! It sounds like we will be getting some more snow and cold temps early next week-perfect for a little more time on the slopes and trails! We will be super busy in March with our annual Reading Bracket, where we all read the same 16 books and vote on our favorite. Last year's winner was Cat Problems. Students are predicting that Giraffe Problems will be the winner this year! We also have the return of our Circus Residency with Troy Wunderlie! We are excited to welcome Troy back for this incredible experience for our students. Make sure you mark your calendars for Friday, March 31st at 6:00pm so you don't miss the Grand Finale where your children will wow you will daring feats and fun!

The ConVal School District has news blog to serve as a hub for the latest updates, information and news about the district’s schools, students, faculty, events and accomplishments.

The blog, ConValNews.com is integrated into the schools and District’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and will automatically broadcast news blog content onto these platforms, connecting directly with the district community.

With a clean, user-friendly and mobile responsive layout, the news blog allows for easy navigation throughout. It can be accessed on computers, cell phones and tablets. Community members can subscribe and be notified by email when new posts are published.

Parents/guardians, students, staff, and community members should still utilize the district’s main website, Convalsd.net, to access the District-wide calendar of events, contact information, school committee meeting notices and minutes, important documents and notices and to view general information about the district and its schools.
