When stranded/lost in the wild for days or however long you are by yourself food is an essential. You can last only 4 days alive without food and water and 40 with no food but have water. When you become isolated and know it's life or death you panic and starvation kicks in quicker. You must eat to live and without food, it is almost certain death.

What you Should Eat When Trapped in Wild

When trying to survive in the wild you can eat many things that can keep you alive but you must be careful and know what they are. You must be very careful with berries and some insects. When you see berries always remember that almost all white berries are poisionness and Catapillars are dangerous to eat as well. Also always remember to never eat any insect that can string you on the way down. Fish are another very good food resource. If there are any minnows in the water that you can catch, they can be eaten whole. Remember to cook any insect or fish found to kill of any harmful diseses that can kill you.
