Parent Conferences
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Conferences for Wamogo High School students will be held Wednesday, November 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Middle school conferences will be held on the same night from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Parent-teacher conferences provide parents/ guardians with information about their student’s courses of study. Conferences also give an overview of the teacher’s approach regarding the expectations for meaningful learning. We hope that parents/guardians will attend and we look forward to meeting you on conference night. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
Sign-ups for conferences are available through PTCFast.com. To sign-up, please click on the link below:

We recognize that time slots are limited. If you are unable to obtain a conference time, you may contact the teacher directly to schedule.
Parents, teachers and administration are partners in education. Together we can make a difference in ensuring that students receive the most from their academic career. Please take the opportunity to visit the school. We are proud of our building, our programs, and our community.
Additionally, please be aware that the end of the first marking period is November 1. If you have questions or concerns regarding an individual class, please contact the teacher of that class. For questions or concerns regarding your student’s academic progress overall, please contact your student’s school counselor.
Sincerely,
Sabin Loveland
Principal

Holiday Assistance Program for Local Families in Need
Each year, the towns of Warren, Morris, and Goshen work with Region 6 Schools, area social service agencies, and private donors to assist local families in need of essentials such as food, clothing, and goods to prepare for the winter holidays.
For those families who may be benefit from this program, we have put together a needs assessment covering the months of November and December, and will use this information to create our assistance packages.
Those interested in participating in this program must fill out and submit the assessment below NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 9TH, after which date we will not be accepting applications outside of extreme circumstances. All forms will be managed by a town hall holiday program coordinator and information gathered from this assessment is kept strictly confidential. By completing this online form, you consent for this information to be confidentially utilized by the town hall rep to create your package.
Once all assessments are collected, the town hall rep may reach out to you for further questions/clarification on needs, and coordinate your package pickup date which will occur at your respective town hall.
For clarification, this program is designed to help support families based on available resources, not cover holiday expenses completely. Therefore, we can not guarantee what or how much will be in each package, though we will try our best to equitably serve each family participating and your town hall coordinator will reach out to you for more specifics and pickup date.
This drive is open to the towns of Warren, Morris, and Goshen ONLY. Those from out of town must contact their town hall to see what programs are available in your area.
If you have any questions regarding this program, accessing the links below, confidentiality, or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact your town hall holiday assistance coordinator.

Region 6 Holiday Food and Gift Card Drive
Throughout November and December, students, staff and community members begin to ask about ways to get involved and help those who are in need during the winter months. Over the last 6 years, Region 6 has collaborated with representatives from each of our town halls to run a district-wide holiday drive to support local families in need. This year, the drive will run from Monday, October 15th - Wednesday, November 14th.
Food items and gift cards are needed for this drive, which will be used to supplement packages for participating families, and will be distributed before the holidays begin. All gift card donations can be delivered to any Region 6 school, addressed to the mental health team member in that building: Kristin Lutz for Goshen Elementary, Gina Fleming for Warren and James Morris Elementary, and Steven Bagley or Sarah Bolton for Wamogo. Personal checks, cash, clothing or toys will not be accepted.
All food donations should be brought to your town hall:
Morris - Laurel Gillotti (860) 567-7430
Goshen - Colleen Kinkade (860) 491-2249
Warren - Missy Woodward (860) 868-7881
Specific gift card needs include: Stop and Shop, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, WalMart, Kohls, Target, or gas stations.
Please consider donating this holiday season. Any amount no matter how big or small makes a tremendous impact for all who benefit from this program.
