Principal's Message
Capitol Hill Community,
We are off and running into 2023 already. Happy New Year! It is so fun for me to wake up and come to work each day because I get to see your children. At Capitol Hill we create a safe, welcoming, and academically rigorous environment where students can be themselves and thrive. Thank you for your continued partnership in providing the best possible education for your child. We would love to see you volunteer at the school if you can!
Please take an extra look at our traffic reminders below. Thank you for keeping us all safe in the AM and PM!
Happy 2023!
- Mike

Successful School Survey!
Racial Equity Work
1. Racial Equity Listening Sessions (please see flyer below)
February 9th at 6:00 pm - We will meet in the cafeteria or a classroom at Capitol Hill! If you are interested in participating please fill out this survey below!
2. Empathy Interviews
We learned from our most recent Successful School Survey that there are inequities in the overall educational experience of our black students and families. Empathy Interviews will be structured one-on-one or small group personal interviews with members of Capitol Hill Equity Team, for students and families to share their experiences at Capitol Hill. At this time, these initial interviews will be open for students and caregivers who identify as Black. The purpose of these interviews is to learn more and do better. This opportunity is optional and we ask that you indicate your interest on the form attached below.
If you are interested in participating please fill out this survey below!
