Marlette Jr/Sr High News

November 2021

From the Principal's Desk

Can you believe that we have already completed a quarter of this school year? Time is flying by, but there is still plenty left to commit to doing our best! November is the perfect month to reflect and remind ourselves all that we have to be thankful for and the many positive events happening in our lives. I am thankful for my terrific family, an encouraging church, excellent teachers and support staff, supportive parents who partner with us to ensure every student's success, and students who try their hardest every day and always give 100%. I am also thankful to live in a community as great as Marlette! We may not be perfect, but we are working to improve every day. With the continued struggles associated with the COVID pandemic and increasing polarization of our country, we have to be intentional about what we focus on and how we respond (Habit 1: Be Proactive). If we are breathing, we have something to be thankful for today!

If you need to contact me, my office phone number is 989-635-4935, Google Voice number is 989-272-3718, and email address is jvislosky@marletteschools.org. Thank you all so much for trusting us with your children!

Help for the Holidays

We should be excited as we approach this holiday season, but we know that there are many families who could use some extra help during this time of year. Ms. Dana's email is dana.down@marletteschools.org and her phone number is 989-635-7425 ext. 44921.

You can also contact Ms. Dana if you would like to help out!
