Sample Itinerary
NOTE: This itinerary is subject to change but is representative of the experiences we will have.
Travel days are June 7 and 12. We will arrange airport transfers to and from FAI and UAF for groups of students traveling June 7 and June 12.
Tuesday June 7: Alaska Bound!
Get yourself to Fairbanks, we will get you to the college if you are arriving on Jun 7 (or really early on June 8). Airport transportation must be arranged in advance.
Wednesday June 8: All about the campus and their programs.

9:00 Orientation
Program Visits
Museum of the North- Behind the Scenes tour.
12:00 Lunch on campus.
Homeland Security Emergency Management Program presentation.
Sit in on a HSEM class.
Tour University Fire Department
5:30 Catered dinner with University Fire Department members and officers.
9:00 Frisbee Golf or Night Hike
Thursday June 8. Animal Research, Paramedic Program and a Campus Tour.

What will it cost?
Fee: $100 per person PLUS airfare. Here is what you get for your $100....
Ground Transportation: Is provided! Transportation around the campus and community will be provided by by both public transportation and SAC Faculty members with rented vans. We will provide group transportation from FAI to UAF for students travelling 6/7 and 6/12.
Food: Is provided! Three meals each day are provided June 8- June 11. Any food you need on your travel days are your responsibility. Please inform Professor Freeman of any food allergies you may have.
Activities: All activities are included! Students are expected to attend all scheduled activities, including pre-trip and post trip meetings. See the sample itinerary above.
What is not provided? Airfare. Food Jun 7 and 12. Transportation while in California.

To check current rates, Google LAX to FAI with your dates -also try SNA to FAI or ONT to FAI. Some flights arrive/leave early in the morning. We are aware of that. We will still get you to/from the Fairbanks airport.

Other things you should know...
All students are required to attend a pre and post trip meeting at Santa Ana College and submit a trip report as requested.
All students attending are required to post photos to designated social media accounts daily June 8-11.
