*Congratulations to Montana Hamby, David Collins, and Ryan Young who all passed the Board of Ordained Ministry interviews.

*Joyce and Jay Howe are happy to report that Jenn & Eric Huff and family are safely in Fairbanks Alaska and have a home.
*Fred & Bonny Watson celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary yesterday.
*Happy Birthday to Stephanie Dana 03/17, Lindsey Preiss 03/18, Selina Koil 03/20, Mark Peper 03/23.
*Sharon Roberts is thankful that her cousin, Bobby Williford, had successful heart surgery.
*We celebrate that Paul Wine has been released from the hospital after his car accident. We continue to pray for his healing and full recovery.
Prayer Concerns
*Susan Smith requests prayer for L. Middlebrooks who has a serious illness and for Mai Nugen who is having a cancer screening.
*Joel Crissman is asking for prayer for Jennie & Wayne Lewis, Cindy Brewbaker, Tom Lawson, Andy Peabody, Dena Kelly, and Fred Watson who are undergoing cancer treatment.
*Jay & Joyce Howe are requesting prayer for Joyce's mother, Mary Lou Rathgeber, who has heart issues and for her father, Gene Rathgeber, who has Alzheimer's.
* Please pray for those who lost loved ones in the shootings in Christchurch New Zealand.
*Sherry Wheeler asks that we pray for Daryan Wheeler, who is having surgery for a brain tumor or April 12th.
*Please pray for Vickie McDonald who is facing some issues.
*Sharon Roberts is asking for prayer for a friend, Lynn Harper, who will have heart surgery tomorrow.
*John Martin requests prayer for Joel Martin and Tommy Walker who have cancer.
*Nancy Jackson asks that we pray for her nephew's wife, Greta Willis, who has cancer.

Wednesday Night Supper
The menu is:
Pork Loin & Gravy, Wild Rice, Candied Yams, Squash Casserole, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, Apple Pie, Rolls, Tea, and Lemonade.
The program will be brought to us by Mary Lou Snow, Coordinator for the Rockdale County Superior Court Resource Court (Mental Health), and Suzanne Kilgore, Case Manager Rockdale County Adult Drug Court, who will be talking to us about Accountability Courts and Criminal Justice Reform.
General Conference Follow-up Sessions
North Georgia is hosting follow-up sessions to address what happened at General Conference in February. These meetings will offer information about what was accomplished, next steps, Q&A, and will end with communion. There are two locations available this Sunday, March 24th from 4:00-6:00 pm. Pastor Julie will be attending the Cascade UMC session (*Bishop Sue will be presiding communion here), and if you would like to attend with her, please email her here.

Candy Donations Needed
We are collecting candy for our Easter egg hunt which is on Wednesday, April 10th. Candy donations will be collected through April 8th. No chocolate candy, please. Lay Servant Ministries
Are you interested in learning how to better serve the church? Would you like to enhance your spiritual gifts? Lay Servant Ministries is offering their next round of classes beginning March 30th. To register, click here.
*Basic – This course is foundational for all courses in lay servant ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship.
*Lay Servants as Christian Transformational Leaders – This course will guide lay servants seeking to be more empowered to lead their congregations toward vitality. This class will meet Thursday, April 4.
*Leading Worship – This course focuses on the ministry of the lay servant who either regularly or occasionally leads a group or congregation in worship.
LENT COMBINED SUNDAY SCHOOL

During the season of Lent, we invite you to connect in a deeper way through worship and study. Pastor Julie will preach a sermon series on compassion based on Rev. Ron Greer's book "The Path of Compassion: Living with Heart, Soul, and Mind." Join us as we search the scriptures and learn how to care more deeply for one another. Rockdale Emergency Relief
We collect food donations on the first Sunday of each month for Rockdale Emergency Relief. You may leave your donation in the cart in the Narthex on Sunday, April 7th. Food items needed this month are:
