Teaching Social Activism Conference: Building Tomorrow
Inspired by the content of the Museum’s groundbreaking exhibition,Activist New York, this day highlights the best practices for teaching this important subject to students of all ages. Join educators, youth, and scholars for this free, full day of engaging conversations, thought-provoking sessions, and gallery tours exploring the various tools and techniques used to engage students and communities in the history and practice of social change. Ms. Venutti, Mr. Eisenberg and myself, Ms. Bayer will be presenting a workshop on "Gardening: Cultivating Tomorrow by Gardening Today."

Regents Prep is in Full Swing at FHS
We have several libguides to help your students prepare for the regents. Check out the libguides for Living Environment , Global History, Chemistry and US History . New Visions has resources for the new Global History Regents and the US History Regents as well. For general regents help for all the regents, look at the SYVUM Test Prep site. Students can eliminate two choices and still prep for the short answer part. ICivics.org has great games, useful for US Government review.
