Pass on the Gift for Heifer International
Pass on the Gift!
April is Pass on the Gift month for Heifer International. Heifer International is an NGO that helps people move out of poverty by teaching a sustainable and earth friendly way to make a living. Heifer is at work in the United States and many countries around the world. Supporting Heifer allows children and families to access education and food. Here are some ways that students will be donating money. Some classes are reading and asking support from family and friends to donate for the number of minutes, pages, or books read for this Read to Feed project. Other students will be asking parents if they can do chores to earn money to donate to Heifer. The Cougar Cart money will be donated. Some students want to have lemonade stands. Thanks for your support in this project that helps others and teaches Ray Marsh students about the world and expands their empathy. If parents wish to donate, please note that checks must be written to Heifer International. To learn more about Heifer, go to www.heifer.org

Wayside Waifs
This month the Cougar Council is sponsoring a fundraiser for Wayside Waifs, a local nonprofit no-kill animal shelter. The grade level with the most donations wins a visit from a few special furry guests. Attached is a Wish list of items needed by Wayside Waifs.
Thank you for your support!
