"A School of Excellence"

Principal's Message

Another busy week in TigerLand! Thanks again to everyone for making our SC PASS administration a success. The effort and stamina that our students displayed was also commendable.

With just 8 days left of this school year, there is still time to make a difference in the lives of our students. Please continue to provide bell to bell engaging activities. We have lots of activities planned for next week, but let us keep in mind that teaching and learning are our priorities up until the very last day. Again, please remember that I must approve all movies that you wish to show. Many teachers have elected to use the last few days of school to dive into a summer reading book with their students.

Please come out and support our Music Program on Tuesday evening at the annual Spring Concert. I had a chance to listen to the band and chorus and can tell you that you will be in for a treat. The performance will begin at 6:00pm.

Have a wonderful week!

Field Trips and More Field Trips

Thanks to everyone who organized, planned, and supported field trip experiences for our students this school year. These trips resulted in very positive and memorable times for our students. The 6th graders had a wonderful time this past Friday as they were able to make real connections with the Medieval Times that they've studied. This was done while attending a "Medieval Times" dinner show at Myrtle Beach. The 7th graders will travel to "Wonder Works" at the beach to participate in an array of fun activities that are aligned with SC Science Standards. Also, another thanks to those who assisted with the Washington trip, which was another success.

Achievement Shout Out

Congratulations to Ms. Nero! Ms. Nero just completed a graduate program at Coastal Carolina. She has obtained a Master's Degree in School Administration. Way to go Ms. Nero!
