Principal's Message
Dear VHS Families,
Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 School Year! It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the Principal of Vineland High School. I am honored to continue to lead a school with such a rich tradition and dynamic educational opportunities!
I hope your summer is going well and you are enjoying the time to rest and relax. As a reminder, school begins virtually on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Please refer to the below information for chromebook distribution and google classroom expectations. Student attendance is extremely important to your child's educational success, therefore, it is imperative your child logs in their google classrooms, completes their homeroom attendance, engages in virtual class discussions and submits all work on time.
Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by VHS by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We will focus on character education initiatives, excellence in instruction, the use of data to drive instruction, and provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so that we can continue to increase all of the students' achievement.
All of us at Vineland High School are eager and excited to begin what promises to be the best year ever. This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections.
As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-teachers, students and parents are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Vineland High School meet their goals and have a successful school year!
Best Wishes,
Suzette DeMarchi
Principal

In addition, it is imperative that all information is accurate in your Genesis parent portal. I will send automated phone calls, text messages, and/or emails. It is also very important that VHS has an accurate number to call in case there is an emergency or other circumstance. You MUST have a valid email address.
