Happy New Year 2016
2nd and 3rd Grade
Back to the Old Grind Mill
Hello 2016... We are prepared for learning and hard work. We now put our nose to the grind mill and are ready to work. The first day back was a little bit delayed but please know that we will follow the schedule for the Tacoma Public Schools when it come to snow days.
WE began this year with a school mass on Thursday. It is the one and only mass we can sing Christmas songs. We so enjoy seeing family at mass.
Reading and more reading will be happening also. I encourage you to take your child or children to the local Library and borrowing books that interest them. See words in print and make your own visuals as the words are supposed to do. This is what authors hope you do.
We are going to focus on really memorizing those multiplication and division facts.
Heads up for Catholic Schools Week, which begins with the last Sunday of January and continues into the first wee of February. It will be a fantastic week full of activities showcasing the value of an education in a Catholic School.
