March

Big picture
I can't believe we are already entering the month of March! The spring season is upon us, which means teachers will be working extra hard to plan and execute engaging lessons for your students. There are only five short weeks left until our students (and teachers) enjoy a well-deserved break. Thank you for ensuring your students are at school so that we can make the most of our time with them. We are making great progress!

February Attendance

Congratulations to 5th grade for having the highest percentage of attendance during the month of February! Remember, our school-wide goal is 95%!

Read, Write, Run

We had a great time at our Read, Write, Run for Renaissance 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! DES was well represented at the race. Several of our students exceeded personal records and came home with a medal. Great job, everyone!

AdvancED Accreditation

It is time for the Pass Christian School District to complete our 5-year accreditation and strategic plan review. This voluntary process focuses on continuous improvement. Each school and the central service office developed a leadership team to collect evidence of our work over the last five years. We are proud of what we have collected!

We would like to thank those of you who have contributed by completing surveys and partnering with us to sponsor meals and provide Pass Christian memorabilia. We could not have prepared for this important visit without our school teams and all of our stakeholders. Thanks; we are READY!!
