Catholic vs. Protestant
One of the main differences in these two churches is the type of preaching and thoughts that they teach the people. Catholic churches have a priest, cardinal, pope, and so on. Most protestant churches have a preacher or a reverend of some sort. Christianity is the biggest religion in the world and Catholic is the main church. Protestant is not just one church. It consists of many churches founded during the Protestant Reformation and still today. Weslyan Church founded by John Wesley, Baptist Church founded by John Smith, and Lutheran Church founded by Martin Luther just to name a few. Most people ditched the Catholic Church because of the language, Latin, spoken during Mass and services. The Counter Reformation later happened to please Catholics and keep them in their church (and to get and keep the money, you powerhouse you!) Now they are not so focused on money. People have switched to many different churches and it's not such a big deal.

Baptist Church
The Baptist Church is one of the most common churches and was formed by John Smith during the Protestant Reformation.
Printing Press & Johannes Guttenburg
Johannes Guttenburg created the printing press for people who couldn't afford their own copy of a book, mostly the Bible. In years past of the printing press, books could cost more than people could make money. This was because books were handwritten by monks or people in the church. This could be very expensive because you would need the right language, good handwriting, and years of copying words. Very costly. So Johannes Guttenburg made the printing press which could make several copies of something in less than 3 days. Same neat handwriting every time, and cheap. The press could make Bibles, newspapers, and other books from writers. He had one of the best inventions of his time.
