HELP WANTED AT POLARIS MINE!

BY ALLISON KAROLUS

Our resources are located in areas where the temperatures are very cold. In just one mine, there is a lot going on. Electric lights burn and the mining equipment runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 12 months of the year. We are located north of Arctic Circle. More than 200 men and women work daily to mine lead and zinc. The sea route to the Polaris Mine is only open 50 days a year, due to the weather. The motors have to be running from October to May or else they will freeze. The mining ore is great quality. Wouldn't YOU want to be a part of this huge creation?
