Grobe's Groovin' Group News
Week of November 11- 15
Giving Back to Our Community
Some of the kiddos were asking how they could help others, if they weren't sure who needed help. I suggested things like canned food drives, helping out at the local food pantry, providing blankets and coats for the women and children's shelters or homeless shelters. Helping out with meals on wheels or organizing a clothing drive in your neighborhood or church are also great ideas.
Let me know what you are planning and if there is anything I can do to help your efforts, too. My goal is for the students to present their projects the week after we get back from Thanksgiving break. I have also organized for the best service projects to be recognized on our morning announcements at school. I want the other students to know that giving back to our community can begin even with the youngest of our society.
(Remember, this is not a mandatory assignment) =)
Many Blessings,
