Officer S. Savage at Bradley University Police Department (ssavage@bradley.edu)
https://holdmail.usps.com/holdmail/
The Bradley Police Department invites members of the Bradley community residing in the near off-campus neighborhoods to register their residences with the Vacant House Watch prior to leaving campus for Fall break. During the break, police officers will monitor vacant residences daily as part of their routine patrols. Participants should contact the BUPD at 309-677-2000 to arrange for an officer to meet at the participant's home to register the property. Officers are available 24/7 to complete the registration process. The information provided to the police will remain strictly confidential. The Vacant House Watch program has been successful in reducing the number of burglaries in the area and helps make the campus and near off-campus neighborhoods safer during vacation periods or extended absences.
Those leaving vehicles on campus during break periods are encouraged to park in the Main Street or Duryea Avenue parking decks for greater security. During breaks, no permit or fee will be required.
