ACT Prep Workshop
- ACT Prep Workshop for October ACT. See Mrs. Johnston in Room 132 for more information and to sign up for the workshop. The cost is $85, due by Sept 28. Only 20 students will be accepted, so sign up now!
- Please read and complete the Federal Aid Impact form that was sent home with students. This is important to the amount of federal funds we receive for our schools!

Post-Secondary Planning Seminar
PSAT
PSAT will be on Wed, Oct 14. Cost is $20, Juniors and Sophomores are encouraged to take this test. Scores earned by juniors can qualify them for the National Merit Scholars Program or the National Merit and National Achievement scholarship. Sophomores, this is good experience! Pay for PSAT before or after school in the College and Career Center.

Sparkman's Cross Country team was so close to sweeping at the Bob Jones Invitational today. Finishing in FIRST PLACE were the Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity teams along with the Girls Junior Varsity team, while the Varsity Girls finished a respectable fourth. FIFTEEN of our runners placed in the top 10 in their divisions. Placing for Varsity Boys were Senior Seth Graham, Junior Jake Russell, Senior Bailey Herfurth and Freshman John David Ray. Top 10 finishers for Varsity Girls were Junior Hailey Brown and Sophomore Makayla Tomaino.
Junior Varsity Boys placers were MMS 7th grader Austin Al-Dijaili, MMS 8th grader Omar Myers, Freshmen Isaiah Vasquez and Adam Thomas and MMS 8th grader Isaac Thomas. Placing for Junior Varsity Girls were Freshman Mary Frances Burch, MMS athletes 8th grader Elisha Jones, 7th grader McKenna Kjelshus and 8th grader Maranna Stevens. Great meet Senators!!

If you feel you qualify, we encourage you to complete the application on line.
