rain forest
info
There are three plants that stand out to me, the Bengal Bamboo tree, the Coconut Tree, and the Strangler Figs tree. The Bengal tree adapted to the extreme hydration of the rainforest by developing vascular bundles that absorb water and wick it up the cane, drinking in enormous amounts of water. It also saves energy by flowering only once in its life, producing seed and dying. The coconut tree can provide fruit and shade. And the Strangler Figs tree adapts by which starts its growth in the tops of trees and works down until its roots hit the ground.
it rains about 65 to 70 inches. it is hot and humid and wet.
One of the animals that have adapted to the rainforest is the tiger. It is a good hider because it is camouflaged. Another animal that has adapted to the rain forest is the toucan. Toucans are adapted to being a fruit eater.one last animal that has adapted to the rain forest is the sloth. Sloths have adapted by being slow so no predator can see them as they climb trees.
an example for a food chain is that the ants eat the leafs and the anteater eat the ants and the tiger will eat the ant eater.
Human impact activities have severely disrupted the rainforests of the world. Millions of acres are lost each year to farming, logging (much of it illegal), mining, and other human endeavors. If unchecked, these activities could potentially eliminate the rainforests of most of Asia, Africa, and South America. we can help save the rainforest maybe by recicling.
