Fulton County curriculum days during preplanning are scheduled for August 1 and 4, 2014. The SEC Department has a variety of training options throughout the district for teachers and staff. Please review the updated list below to determine which training best suits your needs.

Understanding SOLO Literacy Suite
Special Education teachers will learn about the software program SOLO. SOLO is a Literacy Suite comprised of four software titles to support and scaffold the reading and writing process. Teachers will use computers to explore ReadOutloud, WriteOutloud, CoWriter and DraftBuilder.

Setting up the Accessible Classroom
Setting up the Accessible Classroom is a training geared towards teachers of students in Moderate, Severe, and Profound Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, KSE and PSE. It covers how to set up your classroom, utilize core equipment and software, provide access to the curriculum, and address student communication needs.
